Direct-mail firm sells Cheshire industrial building for $2.64M, 10 months after purchase

Less than a year after The Best Postcards bought a roughly 20,000-square-foot industrial building in Cheshire for future expansion, the direct-mail marketing firm has sold the property for $2.64 million.

An affiliate of The Best Postcards sold the 2002-vintage concrete-block building on 3.3 acres at 21 Diana Court to Middlebury-based L&M Realty LLC in a deal recorded Aug. 7.

The Best Postcards paid $2.1 million for the property in October 2025. The August sale price is $545,000 more than the company paid roughly 10 months earlier.

The Best Postcards is headquartered in a nearly 30,000-square-foot office and production building at 30 Grandview Court in Cheshire.

Last year, a company representative said 21 Diana Court offered room for future expansion but would likely be available for lease in the short term.

Chief Financial Officer Joe Raby said Monday the company decided to sell the Diana Court property because it is now looking for a larger building that can better accommodate its growing print and direct-mail operations.

In the meantime, The Best Postcards has temporarily added a second shift at its Grandview Court facility, Raby said.

“As we continue to add various machines to enhance our client offerings, we expect to outgrow our existing facility at 30 Grandview Ct in the near future,” Raby said.

L&M Realty is headed by Michael R. Pelosi, president of Middlebury-based Paul Dinto Electrical Contractors. Attempts to reach Pelosi were not immediately successful.

James M. Panczykowski, of JLL, represented the seller.
