Spirit Airlines today launched its nonstop route from Bradley International Airport to Puerto Rico, airport officials announced.
The Connecticut Airport Authority announced that Spirit Airlines’ inaugural nonstop flight to Luis Muñoz MarĂn International Airport in San Juan, Puerto Rico from Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks takes off this evening.
According to information from Spirit, the new four-hour flight route operates Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays year-round.
On Wednesday, Spirit officially ended its service to Jamaica due to low demand, less than a year after the non-stop route launched.
