Dinosaur State Park reopens following renovations

Dinosaur State Park in Rocky Hill has reopened now that the Department of Energy & Environmental Protection completed renovations to the park’s discovery room.

The new exhibits include flat-screen televisions, a rock and mineral display, first-time display specimens, an interactive mural, and an investigation station.

The cost of the renovations was not immediately disclosed on Monday, although it was split between the state and the Friends of Dinosaur State Park and Arboretum.

The exhibit at 400 West St. in Rocky Hill is open 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday. Admission is $6 for adults and $2 for youths.
