The Connecticut Puerto Rican Forum, Comcast, and One Economy recently honored 15 students who have completed the Comcast Digital Connectors Program. The year-long curriculum trains young people from diverse, low-income backgrounds on how to use broadband technologies and how to put that knowledge to work in their communities. The students received a $500 stipend, personal laptop, flip cam, flash drive, backpack and t-shirt. A $16,000 grant from the Comcast Foundation allowed the organization to upgrade its computer lab.
