Developer set to build Waterbury rehab hospital pays $1.8M for site

A roughly 4.5-acre Waterbury property that will be redeveloped into a 42-bed, 55,000-square-foot inpatient rehabilitation hospital sold for $1.8 million.

Florida-based Catalyst Healthcare Real Estate on Monday purchased the property, located at the corner of Reidville Drive and Harpers Ferry Road. The deed and tax forms were recorded by the Waterbury’s Town Clerk’s office Tuesday.

State officials have signed off on an application by Pennsylvania-based PAM Health to operate a rehab hospital at this site. City officials say PAM will lease the property from Catalyst.
