A two-building property in the center of Deep River, home to residential units and a longtime laundry service, was sold for $1.25 million.
Owners Gerald J. and Carlyn Kruszewski sold the properties at 168 and 170 Main St., to ABAL LLC and principal Andres Aranda in a deal recorded Dec. 22.
The property at 168 Main St. has a total of 4,180 square feet, including 2,000 square feet of street-level commercial space where the longtime owners ran the Commercial Laundry business. That building also had three residential apartments – a one-bedroom and two, two-bedroom units – on the second floor, and off-street parking in a private driveway.Â
It was built in 1890 and has an appraised value of $411,000.
The property at 170 Main St., is a 3,400-square-foot, multifamily building with five apartments – three one-bedroom and two two-bedroom units. It was built in 1817 and has an appraised value of $441,700.

All residential units are occupied.Â
Bill Kane of Londregan Commercial real estate represented the seller. He said the new owners intend to keep the business as a laundry facility.Â
