DECD taps NYC official for director slot

The state’s Department of Economic and Community Development has hired Tim Sullivan as state director of brownfield, waterfront and transit-oriented development.

Sullivan previously worked as chief of staff to the deputy mayor of New York City, where he worked on projects related to brownfields, waterfront redevelopment, affordable housing, transportation and other initiatives.

Prior to that, he worked for Barclay’s Capital.
