DECD, CDA help move manufacturer

With $2 million in loans under its belt, CBS Manufacturing Co., an aviation parts supplier, is expanding to a new location in East Granby. The joint loan from the Department of Economic and Community Development and the Connecticut Development Authority sealed the deal for the company’s $4.3 million move to a 40,000 square foot facility on Kripes Road, which will retain 35 jobs and create 14 new ones.
