The state’s list of qualifying conditions for medical marijuana could expand again, the Department of Consumer Protection said.
DCP’s board of physicians for medical marijuana will take public comment at its March 11 meeting regarding the addition of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), Fabry Disease and Ulcerative Colitis.
If approved, the state would have 17 approved conditions.
Early this month, the board approved the addition of sickle cell disease, severe psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis, and a type of recurring back pain that can occur after surgery.
