DCP releases new regulations for CT’s recreational marijuana industry

The Department of Consumer Protection last week released regulations that fill in many blanks left in the adult-use cannabis legalization law.

Regulations DCP released specify requirements for adult-use cannabis companies for minimum security standards, responsibilities of key employees and guidelines for branding and advertising, among many other rules.

The new guidelines are another important step before the state can begin accepting applications for cannabis business licenses.
