DCP nails delinquent contractors

Twelve home improvement contractors have been banned from working in Connecticut after not paying money owned to the Home Improvement Guaranty Fund, according to the state’s Department of Consumer Protection. The contractors, who owe a combined total of $111,421 to the fund, were delinquent on payments the agency made on their behalf to customers who were dissatisfied with the contractors’ work.
