Christiana N. Gianopulos was recently named a partner at Day Pitney LLP in West Hartford and Elizabeth Latif was named partner in the Hartford office.
Gianopulos works extensively in estate and tax planning, contested probate matters and representation of professional fiduciaries. Gianopulos also assists clients with planning and compliance for their offshore assets. Prior to joining the firm, Gianopulos spent nearly 20 years at a bank as senior vice president and regional fiduciary officer.
Latif is a partner in the commercial litigation department and is a member of the firm’s white-collar defense and internal investigations and securities enforcement defense practice groups. Prior to joining Day Pitney, Latif was an assistant U.S. attorney, both for the Eastern District of New York and the District of Connecticut. She now regularly represents companies and individuals in connection with the defense of regulatory, white-collar criminal and complex civil litigation matters.
