Nonprofit community hospital and healthcare system Day Kimball Health in Putnam has named Dr. Vanessa M. Brown vice president of medical affairs and quality.
Since 2020, Brown has served as the medical director of Day Kimball Health’s emergency department. Before joining the Day Kimball Hospital team, Brown served as an attending physician at Stamford Hospital, where she also served as chair of the credentials committee.Â
In her new position, she is responsible for serving as the liaison between the health system’s medical and executive staff. She oversees the medical staff office, quality improvement/risk management department, and the medical staff directors in 11 areas of care.
