Danbury industrial gas maker Praxair Inc. is the latest to hop aboard the cheap-credit bandwagon, issuing to investors $500 million of 1.20 percent notes due March 4, 2018.
Praxair said proceeds will go to repay existing debt, along with funding its purchase of stock under its repurchase program.
Citigroup Global Markets Inc. is the underwriter for the offering set to close on Monday.
