FuelCell Energy Inc. in Danbury has sold one of its alternative-energy power generators to a British developer, its first sale in the United Kingdom.
The 300-kilowatt DFC300 unit will be installed in The Crown Estate’s Quadrant 3 retail-office-residential redevelopment project in central London. The unit will be operational late in the year and will supply heat and electricity to the 250,000-square-foot property.
Price was not disclosed.
