A retail strip center on a high-traffic road in Danbury has sold for $3.9 million, according to property records.
The buyer of the two-building property, at 5 Padanaram Road, is H & R Patel LLC, controlled by Hina and Rakesh Patel, both of Danbury. An email to H & R Patel LLC was not immediately returned.
The seller is Joon Hyuk Chung, of Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey. Chung bought the property for $3.4 million in May 2008, property records stated.
The 1.84-acre strip center contains 18,769 square feet of leasable space across two buildings that are one story in height. It is appraised at $4.35 million and assessed at $3.05 million.
Tenants include Butthead’s Tobacco Emporium, Sao Paulo Churrascaria Restaurant, Deolinda’s Artisans Bakery, Stylish Lisa Nails & Spa and Bombay Sweet & Spices.
