A round, one-story industrial building near Danbury Municipal Airport has sold for $4.48 million, according to the broker who represented the seller.
The 18,627-square-foot building, at 45B Miry Brook Road, was purchased Dec. 4 by Little Nest LLC, a limited liability company with an address in Sheridan, Wyoming. The company does not appear in Connecticut state business records.
The seller was 45B Miry Brook Road LLC, controlled by James Glickenhaus, a New York-based entrepreneur and founder of Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus, a boutique manufacturer of high-performance road and race cars based in Sleepy Hollow, New York.
Chris Cosio, a broker with Danbury-based Advantage Realty, said access to Danbury Municipal Airport was a key driver of buyer interest.
“It’s a very unique property and we got a ton of interest in it,” Cosio said.
The building sits on 2.18 acres and was constructed in 1969. It is appraised at $1.44 million and assessed at $1 million, according to city property records.
