Danbury industrial and medical gas provider Tech Air announced Tuesday it reached an agreement to acquire New York-based Prest-O-Sales & Service, Inc. and Prest-O-Peconic.
The New York firms will help Tech Air expand its reach into Long Island. The two are the 10th and 11th acquisitions Tech Air has made since it was acquired by CI Capital Partners of New York City in 2010.
Financial terms were not disclosed. The transaction still is subject to customary conditions before closing.
Tech Air was founded in 1935 and now has 27 branches in the Northeast, Southeast, Southwest, and West, serving more than 10,000 customers.
