Rhode Island drugstore chain CVS Caremark Corp., with stores throughout Connecticut, said Tuesday it promoted Helena Foulkes to an expanded role as chief health care strategy and marketing officer, The Associated Press reports.
Foulkes had been the Woonsocket, R.I., retailer’s chief marketing officer.
CVS Caremark said that in that role, Foulkes led the launch of its ExtraCare discount card and its Maintenance Choice program that allows Caremark beneficiaries to pick up 90-day prescriptions at CVS pharmacies or get them delivered through the mail.
The drugstore chain and pharmacy benefits manager said Foulkes has been an employee since 1992.
Shares of CVS Caremark fell 6 cents to $33.55 in morning trading.
