Cushman & Wakefield’s Hartford office has made a splash hiring with the addition of a veteran broker from competitor CBRE.
Patrick Mulready has joined Cushman & Wakefield as managing director, where he will primarily focus on investment sales and office leasing in tandem with the firm’s established team led by Executive Director Joel Grieco.

Mulready joins Cushman & Wakefield from CBRE, where he began his career in 1996 as an appraiser specializing in office building valuations. He transitioned to a broker in 1998, and has recorded over 120 building sales in the past decade, including prominent downtown Hartford office towers and several suburban portfolios.
“After 28 years at CBRE, I am grateful for my time and experience there, but also look forward to this new challenge,” said Mulready.
Robert Skinner, Cushman & Wakefield’s managing principal of New England, said Mulready was hired because of his “deep understanding of the local real estate landscape,” which will allow the firm to grow in the Hartford market.
Mulready earned a bachelor’s degree in economics with a concentration in real estate and urban economic studies from the University of Connecticut.
