Cumberland Farms property in Waterbury sells for $3 million

A 6-year-old Cumberland Farms convenience store and fill-up on a busy intersection in Waterbury sold for $3 million in March.

Cheshire-based Oris Real Estate Investments LLC sold the retail station at 1359 Thomaston Ave. to Watland Farm LLC, in a deal logged by the city on March 28. The 1.1-acre property hosts a 4,816-square-foot retail building and gas pumps, all completed in 2016.
The property was part of a larger parcel that had hosted a large, dormant and crumbling factory building.

Oris Real Estate Investments is headed by developer Robert Oris of Cheshire. Oris had partnered with Robert Roscoe, also of Cheshire, for the development.

Watland Farms principal is Irving H. Paler, of Wainscott, New York, according to state business records.
