More than 60 brokers and real estate experts attended a Nov. 16 meeting of the Connecticut and Western Massachusetts Chapter of SIOR.
The event focused on navigating commercial real estate during a period of high interest rates, with advice from a panel of experts including Brett Eagleson, vice president of commercial real estate for the Washington Trust Co.; Ashley Membrino Fote, senior associate with Day Pitney; Louis Silva, president and CEO of the nonprofit Community Investment Corp.; and Craig Way, managing director of HB Nitkin.
Pat Wellspeak, of Wellspeak Valuation & Advisory, served as moderator of the event, which was held at The Farms Country Club, in Wallingford.
This chapter of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors holds twice-yearly meetings, each presenting a panel of industry insiders and experts.
“We were delighted to be part of bringing this expert panel to the stakeholders in this commercial real estate market,” said Philp Gagnon, a principal with Colliers in Hartford, and president of this SIOR chapter.
