Stamford live-action promoter WWE is opening this summer a wrestler-training and video-production facility in Orlando, Fla., that will bring 100 jobs to that tourist mecca, authorities say.
WWE says its 26,000-square-foot performance center is where the next generation of pro-wrestling talent will be developed.
It will feature seven training rings, offer strength and conditioning and sports-medicine programs, as well as video cutting-edge edit and production facilities.
Pricetag wasn’t disclosed.
The facility will be in proximity to Full Sail University, where WWE since last year has been doing live tapings of its one-hour WWE NXT series aired online.
