Regional carrier Acadia Insurance, with offices in Connecticut, says it’s teaming with the life sciences coverage arm of Greenwich insurer W.R. Berkley Co. to offer comprehensive casualty coverage to life-science businesses throughout New England and New York.
Acadia and Berkley Life Sciences said Tuesday their coverage is marketed to biopharmas, biotech manufacturers and nonprofit researchers and includes protection for damaged equipment, destroyed research materials and records, and loss of perishable goods, among other losses.
