CT’s voter-fraud hotlines on standby

Eager to head off voter hanky panky in Tuesday’s special elections, Secretary of the State Denise Merrill says her office will be staffing its phone and e-mail hotlines throughout Election Day.

Elections will take place from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. to fill legislative vacancies in nine districts.

“I urge any voter next Tuesday – if anything doesn’t seem right when you go to cast a ballot, call us or email us, we are here to help,” Merrill said Thursday.

The Election Day phone hotline is 1-866-SEEC-INFO (1-866-733-2463); the e-mail alert contact is elections@ct.gov.
