The value of goods both exported to and imported from Connecticut grew in February, while the state’s trade deficit increased, according to the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis.
The value of the state’s exports totaled $1.27 billion, while imports totaled $3.75 billion, for a trade deficit of $2.48 billion.
In Feb. 2014, Connecticut exports totaled $1.18 billion while imports totaled $3.28 billion, for a deficit of $2.1 billion, according to BEA data.
The totals include manufactured goods and nonmanufactured goods, such as mineral commodities, fishery products and other goods.
