CT’s spring job/career fair series set

The Connecticut Labor Department’s Job and Career Fair series resumes for its 15th season in March.

The free fairs match employers with potential employees.

The four career fairs on the spring calendar include:
● The Danbury Career Fair, which will take place Tuesday, March 15 at the Ethan Allen Inn, 21 Lake Avenue Extension in Danbury. Co-sponsored by Cumulus Media and the Danbury Chamber of Commerce, it will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the hotel’s ballroom.
● The Manchester Career Fair, co-sponsored with Manchester Community College, will take place
on Saturday, April 9 at the school, which is located at 60 Bidwell Street, Manchester. To be held
in the Great Path Academy Gymnasium, the fair is also co-sponsored by The Journal Inquirer,
WDRC AM/FM and the MCC Alumni Association.
● The Heroes 4Hire Fair — geared for veterans — will take place Tuesday, April 28 at Rentschler Field
in East Hartford and runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aimed at Connecticut residents who have served in the Armed Services, the Connecticut National Guard and the Reserves who are looking for employment, it will be co-sponsored by the Connecticut Veterans’ Administration.
● The Middlesex Career Fair will take place Tuesday, June 21 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Crowne Plaza in Cromwell. Co-sponsors include the Middlesex Chamber of Commerce and the Workforce Alliance.
