Danbury industrial gas supplier Praxair Inc. signed a contract to supply its proprietary oxy-fuel technology to one of China’s biggest steelmakers.
Praxair will deliver a set of its gas-injection systems and related combustion equipment Shandong Guangfu Group Co. Ltd., a steelmaker in North China.
The equipment will be installed at Shandong Guangfu’s 100-ton electric arc furnace to boost its efficiency.
Financial terms weren’t disclosed.
