Brookfield’s Photronics Inc. is now nearly sole owner of a Taiwan subsidiary that produces photo masks used to make microchips.
Photronics said it finalized its previously announced $28 million tender, or $16.30 each, for the 50.3 million shares in Photronics Semiconductor Mask Corp. it didn’t previously own.
The company now holds 98 percent of PSMC, whose products are marketed to Asian customers.
