Connecticut’s largest hiring event next week will feature 90 businesses from across the region and more than 2,000 job-seekers, organizers said.
The Goodwill of Western and Northern Connecticut’s “Get Hired Hartford” career expo is set to kick off Wednesday, Sept. 26, at the Connecticut Convention Center in downtown Hartford.
The third annual event is free and open to the public. Job-seekers in attendance will get facetime with employers and on-site resume critiques and career coaching to support their job search.
Employers include MGM Springfield, Hartford HealthCare, American Eagle Financial Credit Union, Walmart, Cognizant and New England Flagger Services, among others.
Goodwill Career Centers statewide are providing preparation services before the job fair, which lasts from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
