Most Connecticut state and municipal offices will be closed Friday in observance of Good Friday.
All state offices, except for essential public safety services, will shutdown, the governor’s office says.
Hartford City Hall also will be closed Friday, the mayor’s office says.
Most Connecticut businesses, particularly retailers, will be open Friday. The stock market is closed.
Connecticut gives banks discretion as to whether they open that day or not, as long as they have given customers posted advance notice, but most banks will be open, state regulators say.
