Gas prices in Massachusetts — a fill-up haven for nearby Connecticut motorists — have jumped six cents in the past week, the first increase in more than two months, The Associated Press reports.
AAA Southern New England reports Monday that a gallon of self-serve, regular climbed to an average of $3.67, four cents above the national average.
The current price is 96 cents more than at the same time last year.
AAA found self-serve, regular as low as $3.55 per gallon and as high as $3.89.
In Connecticut, AAA says Hartford’s self-serve regular on Monday averaged $3.92, up from $3.88 a week ago.
