Connecticut residents’ personal income continued to accelerate in the third quarter, according to the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis.
Personal income was $225.85 billion in the third quarter, up from $219.05 billion a year ago.
Over the quarter, personal income was up 1 percent, from $224.65 billion. That sequential growth was the 18th highest in the country.
Personal income generally includes wages, property income and benefits and assistance payments from government.
Connecticut’s personal income has grown sequentially for three straight quarters after being flat in the fourth quarter of 2013, according to BEA data.
