Longtime University of Hartford athletic director, Patricia H. Meiser, has been appointed the chair of the Connecticut Sports Advisory Board, a division of the Connecticut Convention & Sports Bureau.
The advisory board works with the CTCSB sales team to attract international, national and regional sporting events to Connecticut.
Meiser recently retired as the athletic director and special assistant to the president at the University of Hartford in West Hartford, after leading the Hartford Hawks program for more than 20 years.
Meiser has been a member of the Connecticut Sports Advisory Board since 2012.
