Connecticut consumers fret about their money going down the drain, and a new survey shows literally just how expensive that has gotten.
Connecticut residential utility customers spend on average $469 for water, 17 percent more than they did three years ago, according to a survey from New England regional engineering services firm Tighe & Bond.
Sewer service averaged $369 last year, just 1 percent more than 2009, Tighe & Bond said.
