CT Water Service widens dividend spigot

Clinton water utility Connecticut Water Service Inc. is rewarding stockholders with a 2.1 percent dividend hike, starting with its third-quarter payout.

The company said Monday it will pay its new 24.25-cent dividend on Sept. 17 to common stockholders on record by Sept. 3.
