Ten years of increasing annual regular dividend payments has landed Connecticut Water Service on the Nasdaq US Broad Dividend Achievers Index.
This list is only open to those companies trading on NASDAQ with a decade of increasing dividends. Twenty-three other companies were added to the list, which becomes effective prior to the market opening on March 21. Eight companies were removed from the list this year.
In January, the Clinton-based utility declared an annualized dividend of $1.07 per share. The company has increased dividend payments for each of the last 45 years.
