Human rights leader Rev. Jesse Jackson Sr. will address the Greater New England Minority Supplier Development Council annual awards gala on April 28 at the Aqua Turf in Southington.
More than 1,000 business leaders from throughout the region are expected to attend the black-tie event, from 5 to 10 p.m., that will include award presentations for the Corporation of the Year, the Buyers of the Year, the Advocate of the Year, and the Suppliers of the Year.
The Greater New England council, with offices in Hamden and Boston, is a regional affiliate of the National Minority Supplier Development Council.
