CT, U.S. team on export webinars

Connecticut is partnering with federal commerce authorities to provide more than a dozen online tutorials to help more small businesses crack open overseas markets.

Secretary of the State Denise Merrill and Connecticut congressman Joe Courtney, (Dem. 2nd District) jointly announced Tuesday that the U.S. Commerce Department Export Assistance Center in Middletown is launching a series of monthly webinars and events focused on international export markets.

Each interactive webinar is 60 to 90 minutes long, featuring experts in each field who will lead the discussions.

Registration for the 15 webinars scheduled so far are on the center’s website www.export.gov/connecticut, with additional topics to be announced in this spring, authorities said.
