State Treasurer Denise L. Nappier is resting in Hartford Hospital after being admitted over the weekend for a hypertension related illness, her office says.
Nappier was hospitalized late Friday afternoon, her office said Monday.
“She is resting comfortably and handling work-related matters as necessary,” her office said in a terse statement.
Her office also said Nappier has requested privacy “as she recovers fully.”
