The Department of Economic and Community Development announced on Friday that it will lead a trade mission to Israel in December to strengthen Israeli and Connecticut business relationships.
Catherine Smith, commissioner of DECD, said the trip will encourage Israeli companies to bring their business to Connecticut, as well as support Connecticut’s companies that want to expand commerce to Israel.
The trip reflects Governor Daniel P. Malloy’s desire to bring capital investment to the state.
DECD will hold an information session on Sept. 10 for companies interested in joining the mission.
