CT to host mortgage assistance event Nov. 28

Connecticut will hold a day-long mortgage assistance event for homeowners on Nov. 28 at the CoCo Key conference center in Waterbury.

This will be the fourth such event for Connecticut homeowners to learn about loan modifications and other foreclosure prevention tips to deal with troublesome mortgages.

Gov. Dannel Malloy, Attorney General George Jepsen, and Banking Commissioner Howard Pitkin on Monday morning announced the creation of this fourth mortgage assistance event, claiming its success has created a national model for other states.
