The state’s largest teacher union unveiled Sunday night a new advertising campaign for its education reform proposals as the organization gears up for what is expected to be a significant year of change for the state’s school systems, The Associated Press reports.
The Connecticut Education Association’s two-week campaign was started during Sunday’s football game between the New York Giants and San Francisco 49ers.
It outlined statewide recommendations that include more accountability from everyone involved in students’ achievement, smaller class sizes, more parental involvement and a reformed teacher evaluation process.
