CT tax agency activates anti-fraud Web page

The state tax collector says it has activated an online site for citizens to report suspected fraud.

The Connecticut Department of Revenue Services (DRS) says enlisting the public to help uncover tax fraud is an effective tool.

Individuals who want to report possible tax fraud can visit the DRS website at www.ct.gov/DRS and select the Report Tax Fraud button on the homepage. From there, users can fill out a referral form and may submit the information either through a secure email system, by fax, or by traditional mail.
