Small businesses will have a chance to meet with the Department of Economic and Community Development for eight presentations taking place this September and October, to discuss various assistance programs.
The September presentations will be shown in Putnam, Manchester, Meriden, and Bridgeport. The October locations are Groton, Willimantic, Norwich, and Torrington. Additional dates and locations will be announced.
Connecticut’s business assistance programs such as Small Business Express, Subsidized Training and Employment, and Job Expansion Tax Credit will be introduced by DECD Commissioner Catherine H. Smith. Business then can meet one-on-one with DECD staff.
Smith says the goal of the program is to inform small businesses about programs enabling continuing economic growth and success.
