Connecticut small businesses eager to get in on public contracts will get the change to meet up with prime federal contarctors and federal and state contracting agencies.
Gov. Dannel P. Malloy on Monday announced a day-long June 23 matchmaker event for small businesses and contractors at the University of Hartford.
It will be from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the university’s Gengras Student Union, 200 Bloomfield Ave., West Hartford.
In addition to the business meetings, representatives from the Connecticut Department of Administrative Services, U.S. General Services Administration, U.S. Small Business Administration and others will give short presentations on the state and federal small business set aside programs and how to become certified to bid on state and federal government contract work.
