Connecticut’s labor agency will host a Jan. 30 career fair for college pupils and soon-to-be graduates.
The annual College 2 Career Expo is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Rentschler Field in East Hartford.
Some 60 Hartford-Springfield area employers are due to attend, the labor agency said Wednesday.
Students attending the expo can also receive career advice from state labor department employees, including information on the current labor market, “hot jobs” of the future and job search tips.
Professional résumé writers from the agency will be onsite throughout the day offering free résumé critiques to help students effectively showcase their skills and accomplishments to potential employers.
Admission for students is free. Directions and other info are at www.ct.gov/dol or at www.collegecareerexpo.com.
