Connecticut was one of 16 states that exported record dollar amounts of goods last year, the U.S. Department of Commerce said today.
The state exported $16.48 billion, up from $15.96 billion in 2012, when the state saw its first decrease since 2009, when exports fell 9 percent to $13.98 billion.
The state ranked 26th by value of goods exported in 2013. That’s up one spot from 2012, when Connecticut ranked 27th.
