Connecticut’s single-family home sales had their strongest September since 2007, according to the Warren Group.
Sales totaled 2,326 in September, up more than 21 percent from 1,916 sales in September of last year.
Median prices increased 8.7 percent year over year to $250,000, the highest median recorded since Sept. 2008.
Condo sales were up 16 percent to 583.
For the third quarter, single-family home sales were up 14 percent, from 7,304 to 8,351, and condo sales were up 17.6 percent to 2,069.
For the first nine months of 2013, home sales are up almost 6 percent, from 18,374 to 19,444, and the median price is up more than 10 percent to $265,000.
