CREW CT recently awarded its Blue Ribbon Award to the science center for its ground-up design and construction that includes a number of energy-saving features among its exhibit space, 3-D theater, gift shop and café. The building holds the LEED Gold rating from the U.S. Green Building Council.
The center has had more than 250,000 visitors since opening last June.
